Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain is a young, agile English midfielder who can almost play anywhere in the middle of the park. He is a current England U-21 International & has progressed through the ranks of the Southampton youth academy, following in the foot steps of Arsenal & England star Theo Walcott & Welsh wizard Gareth Bale.

Football Manager 2011 Information

As you can see, Oxlade-Chamberlain has some great, foundation attributes in which you can build on. His dribbling attribute is great & will form a great building block for future years. Some of his mental attributes leave a bit to be desired but, he has the basic attributes, dribbling, creativity, technique & speed, to be a very good attack mided midfielder.

I picked him up for £2.5 million at the beginning of the game. I'm pretty sure that Southampton's asking price will increase the longer you leave it & the more he develops.

Advised Positions on FM11 - 11.3

• AMR - Definatley has the attributes to play in that position. Has pace, dribbling ability, a good cross & a creative mind, all key for a creative winger.

• CM - If you just improve some of his attributes e.g his passing attribute etc. he could become a very good midfield dynamo.

Has made some vast improvments to his game, currently under the tutorship of Andrey Arshavin and is making huge steps towards becoming a world beater!
