Blackpool

Blackpool Football Club is a professional club who will be playing the 2009/2010 season in the English Championship after finishing 16th in the 2008/2009 season. Blackpool were formed in 1887 and have been a member of the Football League in every season except for the 1899/1900 season (when they were a non-league side). There current manager is Ian Holloway and the Chairman is Mr.Karl,Oyston.

The club currently plays in The Championship, the second tier of professional football in England, after winning the 2006–07 Coca-Cola League One Play-Off Final. Blackpool play at Bloomfield Road and have done since 1901.
