What is TV View?

TV View is a way to view matches in Football Manager.

It can be used in either 2D or 3D, and will ensure that the match is taking up the entire window rather than having other parts of the game, such as menu bars and headings.

You get the option of having 'Widgets' on the screen, allowing you to view different things - such as the current League Table or a Match Rating widget to see how your players are performing.

Widgets

The following widgets are available for you to use in FM11. If you have too many out, you can remove them all at once by pressing 'minimise all' at the bottom of the list of widgets.

How to stop matches from starting in TV View

It is sometimes difficult to stop the game automatically starting all of your games in TV View or Normal Mode.

To change this, you have to change the settings of the match before you start a match. The best time to do this is on the Team Lineups page.

Football Manager 2009

On FM09, the last page you can change this setting on is on the Match Analysis page. Once you reach the Opposition Instructions page, you will not be able to change this setting until you play your next game.

The following screenshot shows you how to change the default view for matches in Football Manager 2009. Look in the bottom left corner, in the 'View Match' option. All you have to do is click on whichever mode you want your matches to start in.
